Dr. Hekimci earned her Bachelor's in Political Science at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, and then continued her studies at Istanbul Bilgi University, where she attained her M.A. in Philosophy and Social Thought. Subsequently, she earned her Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from Bahçeşehir University.

 

Dr. Hekimci completed her second Ph.D. at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and is currently a full-time lecturer at the University of Miami.
